Meet the Team

Julia Lembcke, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CLTC, ChSNC®, Managing Director

Erik Lembcke, CFP®,  President

Julia Lembcke, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CLTC, ChSNC®, Managing Director

Julia is especially sensitive towards family-oriented women and couples nearing retirement throughout Florida. Growing up with a strong, financially independent mother and watching situations in her own her family where a lack of planning can destroy relationships, she realized early on that helping women and families gain financial clarity, confidence, and comfort is her passion.

Julia and her team will work with you to achieve these goals and others: receiving a specific income in retirement, mitigating taxes, effectively passing on wealth to children, grandchildren, and/or a charity, protecting yourself and your family against the rising cost of health care, and reducing exposure to market volatility.

She believes that women struggle with different fears and frustrations than men and can benefit from competent female-oriented financial advisors to address these unique fears and frustrations.

“Women have competing priorities in life, care for more than just themselves, and face very different challenges than men. As such, they need to be advised accordingly. Women need more listening, less financial jargon, and a more customized approach to financial planning that incorporates their values and wishes at the core.”

While men are usually more concerned with how their portfolio performed against the benchmark, women are more concerned with how their portfolio performed in conjunction with their long-term life goals and objectives. Women are typically the “Chief Operating Officers” of their household and make most, if not all, of the day-to-day and long-term financial decisions. In addition, women live longer than men on average, which exposes them to a greater risk of outliving their money, a concern that must be addressed with an advisor who specializes in this area.

Women want security for their families and friends, and for future generations. They want to use wealth to be independent and to have the freedom to make choices about how they live. Successful women often want to use their wealth to make the world a better place for their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. After their loved ones are taken care of, they want to devote time and resources to causes near and dear to their hearts and to philanthropy to support their community. Often, these wishes get lost in the overly complex, male dominated world of finance leaving many women frustrated and disconnected from their own resources.

While most advisors tend to believe they already know what you want and what you’re looking for, Julia and her team realize the importance of asking critical questions about your needs and expectations, and best of all, they listen! They want to hear your story, your family values, your life goals, fears, and wishes for the next generation.

You deserve to have a financial team that truly listens to your story, appreciates your hard-work and personal accomplishments, and devotes their time to helping you through life’s demanding and challenging transitions. Every woman has a complex and fascinating life story, or “suitcase”. Julia’s goal is to help you unpack your suitcase, plan for the various “trips” in your life, and help provide you with the expertise you need to enjoy the journey!

His personal mission is to provide prudent, unbiased advice and financial literacy to his clients and the community so that hard working people can feel confident in their future and ready for the unexpected. Erik’s father worked seven days a week while his mother was a homemaker and the family Chief Financial Officer. They started with very little but, by spending conservatively, investing well and saving their money, they have all of the financial security they need. Erik’s upbringing and experiences in dealing with people from all walks of life has given him the knowledge and expertise he needs to help his clients live their dreams in retirement.

Erik has over a decade of experience in financial services and before joining URS Advisory in 2016, he worked as a Relationship Manager at First Republic Bank. Before Deutsche Bank, he held various roles at SunTrust Bank and Island Capital Advisors where he focused on banking, insurance and lending solutions for clients. Erik earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Miami.

As a native of South Florida, Erik has seen the growth and change that many Floridians have seen over the years. He and his brothers grew up attending public schools and graduated from Suncoast High School, a magnet school located in Riviera Beach.

From a very young age, his parents taught him the value of hard work, to always do the right thing, and to save money for a rainy day. Erik and his two older brothers are very close in age and grew up playing sports, surfing, and became Eagle Scouts together. Today, you can find him doing more of the same in his free time; golfing, surfing, and playing tennis with Julia. Erik is involved with the Boy Scouts of America, he is a past board member of NAIOP South Florida, and he is a past board member of the LIFE Foundation which recently built a memorial for wounded and disabled veterans in Washington D.C. Erik is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council.

Corinne Poor, ChSNC®, Relationship Manager

Corinne is our go-to person. She is a Relationship Manager with URS Advisory focusing on special needs planning. Most recently, Corinne was head of client services at URS Advisory. Her kind nature and upbeat attitude enhance the relationships we have with our clients. A New Englander at heart, she relocated to South Florida in the fall of 2020. Her youngest son was accepted to attend elementary school at The Learning Center located at the Els Center of Excellence. She lives in Jupiter with her husband, Greg, two sons, Cameron and Tanner, and an adorable black Lab, Reba.

Since 2014, Corinne and her family have been top annual fundraisers and supporters through the Els for Autism Golf Challenge. Funds from Golf Challenge benefit the Els for Autism Foundation (www.elsforautism.org). Specifically, The Els Center of Excellence, located in Jupiter, FL, is a world-class facility hosting leading-edge programs and services for people on the autism spectrum and their families. The campus contains thoughtfully planned spaces designed to meet the specific needs of individuals with autism—from a possible early diagnosis to their school-aged years and adulthood. The Center hosts two non-profit, tuition-free Palm Beach County charter schools that serve students with autism using evidence-based practices. The Rupert Education Wing hosts The Learning Center at The Els Center of Excellence, serving students with autism ages 3-14 (www.thelearningcenter.org). The Shanken Education Wing hosts The Learning Academy at The Els Center of Excellence for students with autism ages 14-21 (www.tlacad.org).

After relocating to Palm Beach County in the fall of 2020, increasing support for local children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) within the charter schools was important to Corinne. Her family’s efforts are dually focused on supporting the fundraising for The Autism Project of Palm Beach County (www.autismprojectofpalmbeachcounty.org). This local non-profit is another fundraising arm for several Els Center of Excellence programs, including The Learning Center, The Learning Academy, and the newest APPBC project, “Babe’s House,” a Community Residential Home (group home) that serves adult males with ASD. Corinne is admired by many, including her colleagues at URS Advisory, for her personal efforts to help so many families.

Before joining URS Advisory, Corinne worked for Bessemer Trust, Flagship, and Madison Square Garden. She is enthusiastic about the services URS Advisory offers and loves getting to know our clients and helping in any way she can!
